May 2011 Amenity Update

GGS Neighbors,

So many things have happened since March 21st. Quite honestly, I have come to realize that being a Trustee in a corporation, where other members are not emotionally vested, is a lonely place to be in. Not to mention exhausting.

Have you ever sat on a table in a party where you do not belong? That is exactly how I felt in the last two months. The same party where the audience laugh occasionally at your jokes, all the while, they are laughing at you, and not with you? I will not wish it on anyone...

Folks, stay away from the real estate pros...

More importantly, rid yourself the company of neighbors masquerading as concerned citizens, when in reality, they are just as scheming as the next crooked real estate broker, or worse, as dishonest as the next financial officer.

Nothing is more disheartening to discover than a neighbor who professes his and/or her intentions for the greater good, and then treads toward the general direction farthest from the promise. The feeling is just as painful as having a lover break your heart.

Why?

To whom trust is given, hope is expected. To whom much is given, much is expected. Do the math.

Below are some of the May 2011 updates.

I will try to update you regularly from now on. Hopefully, these are things I can share, without sacrificing the integrity of this very small group we all refer to as the Board of Trustees.

With much hope,
River
